The review pass put a checkmark on the wrong number

The slide said two point six days. Someone had asked how long customers wait. The code ran. The chart looked finished. Then they handed the same answer back and told it the number was going into an exec deck.

The review pass caught a wrong row count. It also put a checkmark next to a conclusion that was backwards.

Nate Rosidi published that scene on KDnuggets. Three small files. Average delivery time. The model measured ship-to-door when the question was order-to-door. Two point six instead of six point zero nine. No red light. Just the wrong clock.

Before the next deck

After a model returns a metric, read the question, then read the column names in the calculation. If those two sentences do not match, the number is not the number you asked for.

Write two clocks on a sticky note. Ship-to-door. Order-to-door. If the board only watches one, write the other.
